A further 90 positive COVID-19 cases have been reported in Warrington according to the latest data from Public Health England.

AS COVID Community Support Officers took to the streets of Warrington for the first time and council leaders urged people not to visit neighbouring areas, another 129 cases have been reported in the latest figures from Public Health England.

ONE more patient has sadly died at Warrington hospital while 65 new COVID-19 cases have been reported as council leaders warned residents to take care this weekend in light of the continued high number of coronavirus cases in the town.

THREE more COVID-19 patients have sadly died at Warrington Hospital while 130 new cases have been confirmed in the town as council leader Russ Bowden urged residents to “follow the new restrictions” and “play our part to try and address the high case numbers in our town.”

COVID wardens will be on the streets of Warrington this weekend as Warrington Council moves to tackle an “astronomical” rise in new cases across the town, with over 700 confirmed last week.

THE small dedicated team at Warrington & Halton Hospitals who devised a special “black box” to treat COVID-19 patients and cut death rates, have won a national award for innovation.

WITH COVID-19 cases remaining very high in Warrington, with a further 128 cases reported in the latest data from Public Health England and hospital admissions rising steeply, health and council leaders are to stage another public broadcast.

WHILE Warrington has been classified as an area of “High Risk” the new restrictions are slightly different than under the “local lockdown” with the rule of six allowing people to meet in gardens.
