Mummified head returns home

A mummified head which has been kept in Warrington Museum & Art
Gallery for 170 years, and believed to be that of “a South Sea island
chief”, has been sent back to New Zealand following a repatriation
ceremony in Warrington today (Friday 25 October 25).
