Two men charged following alleged armed robbery at town centre shop

TWO men have been charged following an alleged armed robbery at a shop in Warrington town centre yesterday, Monday (Oct 19).

David Holt and Simon Baker were arrested in O’Leary Street shortly after 11.30am on Monday 19 October. The pair, who both live in O’Leary Street, has subsequently been charged with robbery.
Holt has also been charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place.
The charges all relate to an incident at a shop in Bridge Street in Warrington town centre that occurred at around 11am on Monday 19 October.
Holt, 44, and Baker, 50, have been remanded in custody were remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Tuesday 17 November.
