Alleged serial cycle thief picked up on CCTV

AN alleged serial cycle thief has been arrested at Warrington – thanks to good work by the borough council’s CCTV team.
Police arrested the alleged offender after he was picked up on camera  stealing a pedal cycle in the town centre.
He was subsequently charged with a series of cycle thefts in the town centre as well as for failing to appear at Tameside court for another alleged cycle theft.
Officers then put a further charge of stealing a cycle in the Merseyside area to him and he has now been charged with this offence as well.
