POLICE have issued a Dispersal Order after two groups of around 60 youths congregated on Bennetts Rec at Padgate, Warrington.

At around 17:15 on Friday the local PCSO discovered two groups group of approximately 60 youths on Bennetts Rec with around 20-30 of them drinking under age and making off with bottles of alcohol as he approached.
They shouted abuse towards the officer as they ran away. Their behaviour has ultimately ruined it for the rest of those who genuinely want to spend time with friends playing football and listening to music.
As a result until Sunday there is now a Dispersal Order in place on Bennetts Rec under Section 34 of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.
If anyone knows their child/group of friends are on there , it would be wise to bring them home. Patrols and monitoring will continue throughout the weekend.
