ROCK Choir – the biggest contemporary choir in the UK – will be led by Kathryn Davies, local leader for the Warrington area – when its free, interative session goes live on Friday.
The “Ready for the Weekend” session on Facebook at 4pm will have a “trip to the theatre” theme so will feature popular show tunes.
When Boris Johnson first announced that the UK would go into lockdown to combat COVID-19, the 32,000-strong Rock Choir responded by launching its “Keep Britain Singing” campaign with daily singalongs on their Facebook page followed by thousands of people
Now, with lockdown rules being eased, they are refreshing the initiative with the “Ready for the Weekend” idea.
Each week a different Rock Choir leader leads the session – and this Friday it is Warrington area leader Kathryn Davies.
