Assault victim remains critical but stable

THE victim of a serious assault during an altercation between two men at the Gateway Trade Park in Warrington, yesterday (Thursday), remains in hospital in a critical but stable condition.

A 24-year-old man arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault has been released on conditional police bail pending further enquiries.
Emergency services, including the air ambulance attended at the scene shortly after 10 am yesterday when officers were called to reports of an incident on Gateway Trade Park, Kerfoot Street, Warrington.
Officers attended the scene and found that there had been an altercation between two men.
The victim was taken to Aintree Hospital.
