Two men charged after armed robbery at Orford Lane Co-op store

DETECTIVES investigating an armed robbery at the Co-op convenience store on Orford Lane have charged two men in connection with the incident.

Thomas Eden, 26, and Christopher Jones, 31, both of no fixed abode but from Liverpool, have been charged with robbery.
Jones has also been charged with escape from lawful custody.
Both have been remanded in custody and will appear at Warrington Magistrates Court on Thursday 18 June.
The charge relates to an armed robbery at a cash machine at the Co-op store on Orford Lane which occurred at 9.10pm on Monday 15 June.
