ALL lanes of the M6 Northbound have now re-opened following a serious road traffic collision this morning.
The multi-vehicle collision took place between junction 20 for Lymm and junction 21 for Woolston. All traffic was stopped northbound and one lane of the southbound carriageway was closed as a doctor and paramedics treated one of the drivers involved in a multi-vehcle collision.
A large amount of debris was scattered across the carriageway.
The motorway closure caused heavy traffic congestion on local roads.
