Rubbish set on fire in shopping trolley

FIREFIGHTERS were called out last night following reports of a fire in the open off Morley Street, Warrington, involving rubbish which had deliberately been set on fire in a shopping trolley.

The incident took place shortly before 10.30pm and buckets of water were used to extinguish the flames.
It is believed that the fire had been started deliberately.
Anyone with information is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting IML 710571.
Earlier in the evening, shortly after 8pm firefighters were called following reports of a fire involving a shed in Dallam Lane.
On arrival the crew found one shed well alight.
One hose reel jet was used to extinguish the flames.
