WARRINGTON Police have praised members of the public for observing the Lockdown rules in local parks and public spaces across the town.
Throughout today there were hourly patrols on every park and open space in Warrington West along with patrols at other parks and public spaces across the town.
Warrington Police posted on their Facebook page :”It has been fantastic to see that over the course of the day, everyone has adhered to government guidelines and we have only had to move one person on.
“Thank you all for the support and enjoy your Easter!”
And while police have also been busy delivering Easter Eggs to local children who put pictures of Rainbows in their house windows, they also received some Easter eggs to enjoy themselves dropped off at the Arpley Street polic estation.
The importance of social distancing continues as Warrington saw one of the biggest increases in confirmed cases of Coronavirus in the past 24 hours, increasing by 42, to a total of 301, with two new deaths, taking the total to 33 confirmed deaths at Warrington Hospital.
