Drink driver who “ploughed” into parked car was three times limit

AN alleged drink driver who “ploughed” into the back of a parked car at Penketh was three tmes over the limit when breathalised by police.

The male driver was arrested for alleged Drunk Driving on Greystone Road having “ploughed” into the back of a stationary vehicle.

He attempted to flee the scene but was caught by police and provided a roadside sample of 110.

He was taken to custody via hospital and still managed over 100 – the limit is 35.

In a separate incident a woman arrested for alleged Drunk in Charge of a Motor Vehicle was also alleged to have taken a swing at person trying to detain her and Resisted Arrest.

She provided a sample in custody in excess of 100.
