Essential maintenance work on swing bridge this weekend

ESSENTIAL bridge maintenance works will be taking place on Northwich Road swing bridge, Stockton Heath, Warrington this weekend.
The works will be of minimal impact and involve a footway closure of the eastern footway tomorrow (saturday) and on Sunday. The opposite footway will be kept open for pedestrians.
Stop/Go boards will be in place on Sunday morning between the hours of 6am and 10am
A borough council spokesperson said: “These are routine maintenance works and are not linked to the planned bridge repainting and refurbishment works.”
