Police issue CCTV image linked to suspicious activity at Birchwood supermarket

POLICE have issued a CCTV image of a man they are looking to speak to as part of an ongoing investigation following suspicious activity in a Birchwood supermarket.

The investigation relates to reports of suspicious activity which occurred at a supermarket in Birchwood 12pm and 12.30pm on Saturday 7 March.

The man in the CCTV image was seen in the store at the time of the incident.

Police Constable Gareth Frith said: “This investigation is in its early stages and as part of our enquiries we want to speak to the man in the CCTV image as I believe he may be able to help us with our enquiries.

“If you think you recognise the man, or know who he is, please call the team here at Warrington on 101.

“I would also appeal directly to the man in the CCTV image to get in touch to help us progress with our investigation.”
