A question mark is hanging over this year’s Lymm Festival due to the Coronavirus pandemic with organisers cancelling a children’s craft event scheduled for this Saturday (March 21).

The craft event had been scheduled to take place at Lymm Village Hall involving a host of activities for children to get creative with nature.

A spokesperson for Lymm festival said: “Sadly, in consideration of the current virus health threat we have reluctantly decided to cancel the Children’s Crafts Event scheduled for the 21st March.

“For the moment we are evaluating the plans for the main festival which begin in June.”
