Royal Mail is “first class” in the WA postcode area

ROYAL Mail has exceeded its regulatory First Class mail target (93.0 per cent) for the first three quarters of 2019-20 in the WA postcode area, delivering 93.5 per cent of mail the next working day.
Across the whole of the UK, 92.9 per cent of First Class mail was delivered the next working day for the first three quarters of the financial year 2019-20. This is within the 93 per cent target range when allowing for the margin of error in sampling.
The results are published in the latest Royal Mail Quality of Service report. Royal Mail has one of the highest Quality of Service specifications of any major European country.
Corey Kitchen, service delivery leader, Royal Mail said: “We are delighted with our First Class performance in this area. We take our Quality of Service requirements extremely seriously and our postmen and postwomen work hard to deliver high standards of service to all our customers across the UK.”
The WA postcode area includes Warrington, Lymm, Widnes, Runcorn, Frodsham, St Helens, Newton-le-Willows, Knutsford and Altrincham
