Deliberate fire near telephone exchange

FIREFIGHTERS were called to Stanley Street, in Warrington town centre, this morning to reports of a fire near the telephone exchange.
They found a quantity of loose cable in an abandoned shopping trolley which appeared to have been deliberately set alight.
The crew from Warrington Fire Station, used a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze and were at the scene for about 15 minutes
