Pensioner burgled while in hospital

POLICE have arrested two men at Burtonwood, Warrington, in connection with an alleged burglary.
The pair are alleged to have burgled a pensioner’s home while he was in hospital.
Property has been recovered and the men are being questioned by detectives.
Police have issued a warning for people to make sure all doors and windows are locked and secure with the darked nights drawing in.
