A WARRINGTON-based housebuilder has appointed a new managing director – a man who bought his first house from them 27 years ago.
Robert Holbrook, 53, said:” It is great to return to my home patch, as I have previously worked here for over eight years.”
Mr Holbrook has taken the reins at Barratt and David Wilson Homes North West.
He brings a wealth of experience to the role, having joined sister company Barratt Homes Manchester in 2002 and also heading up the company’s Eastern Counties division managing director
Mr Holbrook said, “The first house I ever bought, in 1992, was Barratt house. It was and still is a household name although times have changed in many ways.”
The developer built nearly 580 homes in the past financial year and Mr Holbrook hopes to build on the company’s success.
He continued, “I am looking forward to leading the division in its growing aspirations and delivering high quality homes in great locations for all our customers. The people are a real bonus of this new role; I have inherited a passionate and hard-working team who are delivering fantastic results.”
