Library to open longer

A NEW self-checking system and extended opening hours are being offered at a Warrington library from next week.
From Monday October 5 the self-checking service that has proved popular with Central Library users in recent months, will also be available at Stockton Heath Library.
Opening hours at the facility in Alexandra Park will also be extended on Thursday evenings until 7pm.
This is the library’s 50th year of service and to mark this there will be a local history display about the area and what it looked like then.
There will be a family history helpdesk available on the afternoon of Tuesday October 13. A series of quizzes and family events are also planned and users can get details from staff.
