Remembering the music of the Sixties

A FUN night celebrating the well-remembered music of the Sixties is to be held at Culcheth Sports Club on Saturday, May 11.
The music will be provided by local band “80-40” with support from Culcheth Methodist Choir.
Beatles, Shadows, Cliff Richard, Gerry and the Pacemakers, Chuck Berry and many more will be featured on the night. People attending will be encouraged to dress in Sixties gear, including mini skirks, long flower power dresses or flares. There will be a prize for the best dressed.
The event will raise money for two charities – Cancer Research and Liverpool’s Walton Centre – the only stand alone NHS hospital for neurology. It is where people are treated  for brain and spinal injuries and associated pain.
Tickets will be available from early April and can be purchased from Culcheth Sports Club and Poyton’s Florist on Lodge Drive.
