Three teenagers remanded in custody after Orford robberies

THREE local teenagers have been charged with four counts of robbery after a series of incidents in the Orford area of Warrington recently.

The youngsters , aged 17, 16 and 15, appeared at Warrington Youth Court today (7 February) and were remanded into custody to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on March 6.

They were arrested following a police appeal for information following a number of robberies involving members of the public being allegedly threatened by youths brandishing a meat cleaver.

The youngsters can not be named for legal reasons.
