Poppy to play for her country – again!

POPPY Lawson, a Year 11 pupil at Birchwood High School, has been selected to play Under-16 soccer for her country – for the second year in succession.
She will play in the England squad in the UEFA Development Tournament at Loughborough University between February 1521.
The team will play three games against France, Italy and Spain, alongside training and a full education package to compensate for education missed during the academic year.
Poppy said: “I am delighted and excited to be called up, as I loved the experience last year.”
