Popular Oktoberfest is up and running!

WARRINGTON Rotary Club’s annual charity fund raising Oktoberfest is up and running at the town’s Parr Hall.

Oktoberfest 22, opened at the town’s Partr Hall last night (Thursday) and runsz until Saturday evening and will help raise thousands of pounds for charities and good causes.

Over 70 cask ales plus ciders and bottled beers are on sale to raise much needed funds for a number of charities both local and international. There is also be a ‘Gin and Fizz Bar” by popular request. Food is also available at the event.

Live music takes place at each session. Admission costs £5 and includes a commemorative beer glass.

So far over £275,000 has been raised for both local and international charities from previous Oktoberfests.

Warrington Rotary President, George Wilkinson commented, “This year should be another bumper year for our charities with interest being shown by people from all over the northwest and further afield.”
