Suspected drug dealer caught thanks to CCTV cameras

A suspected drug dealer operating in Warrington town centre last night was caught thanks to CCTV cameras.

The male was arrested at 2320 hours in the town centre following a tip-off from the CCTV Operator.

It is alleged that he was found with snap bags and wraps of a white powder – suspected to be Cocaine.

He was one of a number of people held in custody over night.

At 1915 hours, a male was arrested in Lymm for a fail to appear in court and for an alleged Drink Driving offence.

At 2250 hours a woman was arrested in the Latchford area for allegations of Domestic Harassment – and later on Possession of a Controlled Drug.

Then at 0315 hours two males were arrested in the Latchford area for an alleged Theft from a Motor Vehicle.
