Also joining the fun were Thelwall Morris Men, donkey rides and Punch and Judy.

Jayne Doody from the organising Committee said: “As a Committee we are also extremely grateful for all the help and support we receive from the village every year. Without it the Carnival could not happen. However, we would welcome any additional help from individuals or local organisation, within the community who are able to offer a small amount of time.. If anyone feels they are able give a little of their time, even if it is only for half an hour, we would be extremely grateful and you will be guaranteed a very warm welcome.”

Anyone who can contribute in any way to the above next year please contact Merron Mitchell for more details – 01925 764500 or 07771837982.
