VIDEO: FIREFIGHTERS were called out to tackle a blaze at a takeway on Bridge Street, Warrington on Friday night.

The fire broke out at the Piri Piri Chicken premises and spread to a neighbouring property.

Crews found that the takeaway was well alight on arrival and crews, four wearing breathing apparatus, used two hose reel jets, two main jets, a covering jet and a large fan to extinguish the fire.
