THE team behind the English Half Marathon, which returns to Warrington for the 10th time this year, are hosting a special networking event on Thursday April 19.

Taking place at the Gateway building in Warrington., the event invites businesses, runners and charities from across the area to come and learn more about how they can get involved with the event.

The event will also be promoting the Knight Corporate Finance Challenge, a great way for businesses to get involved with the event. The English Half Marathon team will be on hand to give guidance on how your work force can get involved and the benefits of fitness in the work place.

There will also be a number of guest speakers at the event including Race Director, Rob Griffiths. He said “We are thrilled to be putting on this Networking event to showcase how people throughout the community can get involved in the English Half Marathon. We have a number of speakers joining us on the night who have been great ambassadors of the event and supported us throughout the years.”

The English Half Marathon is set to attract nearly 8.000 participants this year across the 5 distances. The event is now a well-established event in the Warrington calendar, with a high percentage of runners coming from outside the area to showcase all the town has to offer. With 4 different distances there really is something for everyone to get involved in this September.

The event will start at 5.30 at the Gateway Building with nibbles and drinks on arrival. For more information on how to book your place please contact [email protected].
