VIDEO: IT was perfect weather for ducks and the wet conditions failed to deter thousands of people piling into Lymm village for the annual Duck Race.
Organised by Lymm & District Roundtable the event once again helped raise thousands of pounds for local charities and good causes.
Despite a slight delay at the start of the proceedings due to some technical difficulties with the launch. The large crowds who braved the wet conditions remained in good spirits.
warrington-worldwide’s Paul Jackson was on hand to broadcast the event live around the world, while also capturing the occasion in camera.
Local businesses supported the event by spnsoring Super and Corporate Ducks.
The winning ducks were 1st 723, 2nd 212 and 3rd 89. The Coffee House was the winning Super Duck and the Corporate winner was Orb Jewellery.
The Lymm Duck Race, which has now been running for around 20 years, has become one of the most popular events in the village.
