WARRINGTON’S own stately home – Walton Hall – is holding a open evening to help brides-to-be and their partners to plan their wedding day.
The hall will be open from 4pm to 8pm to enable couples to consider it as a venue for their big day.
It will be dressed for a wedding breakfast and ceremony – the venue is fully licensed to hold weddings and civil ceremonies.
Whether for exclusive use for the whole day, or just for an afternoon or evening reception, the hall has flexible spaces and packages to suit all
requirements.
Cllr Tony Higgins, the borough council’s lead member for leisure and community, said: “Walton Hall is a stunning venue and provides a magnificent setting for a wedding at any time of the year. We are extremely lucky to have such a treasure in Warrington, the majestic hall offers gilded ceilings, oak panelling and a grand staircase and is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, making it an ideal setting for the most spectacular wedding photos.
“If you’re thinking of getting married I encourage you to attend the open evening. It’s a great opportunity to view the hall and to talk to the team who can help you plan your special day.”
