VIDEO: POLICE have  released more video footage of missing Warrington man Keith Taylor showing him wearing the clothing he was believed to be wearing when he disappeared.

Since yesterday (Thursday, 21 December), officers have received an influx of calls from members of the public after they renewed their appeal for help in tracing Keith’s whereabouts. Keith’s wife issued a heartfelt plea and police released CCTV footage of him recorded the day before he was reported missing.

Thaking the public and media for their ongoing help in the search Chief Inspector Jez Taylor said: “We really appreciate the public’s support in coming forward with any information they might have about Keith. Officers are now in the process of going through the information in the hope that it will help us find him.

“I want to take this opportunity to thank the public, the local community and the media for their help, and I would encourage others to also come forward with any information or possible sightings by calling us on 101.”

Keith, 76, was last seen by his family at his home address in the Padgate area of Warrington at 7.30am on 15 December. He has not been seen since, despite an extensive search by officers.

Keith is described as 5’ 4” tall, white, with grey hair which has flecks of black in it, and a grey moustache. He is likely to be wearing blue jeans, which are frayed at the bottom, and a navy Regatta zip up jacket.

CCTV footage shows Keith walking in Warrington town centre on Thursday, 14 December, the day before he went missing. Another clip shows Keith in the King and Queen pub in Warrington town centre on the evening of Thursday, 14 December. Keith is believed to be wearing the same jacket he has on in the pub.

Chief Inspector Taylor added: “It’s now a week since Keith was reported missing and we are still trying to trace his whereabouts. This is totally out of character and as each day passes we are becoming increasingly concerned about his welfare.

“We are particularly concerned as we know that he’s not been feeling well recently and has had some dizzy spells; he also suffers from Raynaud’s disease which causes numbness to his fingers and limited in dexterity. If you see someone struggling to use their hands who matches Keith’s description please call us.”

Keith’s wife Anita said: “As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for us. We are missing Keith so much and are very upset that he isn’t at home with us.

“Keith, if you are reading or listening to this, please know that you are loved so much by your family, friends and all those who know you and we desperately want you to come back home.

“I want to take this opportunity to thank all those who have been involved in helping to find Keith and I deeply appreciate all your support.

“The public have all been so kind and I thank you all so much. Please continue to be vigilant, please look out for any sightings of Keith and report them to police on 101 however insignificant you feel the information is.”
