Police release pictures of “hockey stick” robbery

POLICE investigating a robbery at an off licence in Warrington have issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to.
They have also release a picture of a jacket similar to one the offender is believed to have been wearing.
The robbery was in Loushers Lane, Latchford, at 9.45pm on Tuesday, November 7.
Two men, one brandishing a hockey stick, entered the shop and demanded that the shop assistant hand over money from the ill. They left the store with cash and a bottle of alcohol.
Anyone who has any information is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident 904 of November 7.
Information can also be passed on anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
The man holding the hockey stick is described as aged 17-20, around 5”10 in height and of a skinny build. He was wearing a black hooded top with the hood up, black gloves and a black tracksuit bottoms. He had mousey brown long hair and pointed facial features. The hockey stick appeared to be well used and had blue and white markings. The second man aged 17-18, around 5”11 and of a stocky build. He had a pale complexion with fair coloured eyes. He was wearing a black coat and black tracksuit bottoms and had something covering his mouth. He was carrying an unknown implement.
