POLICE have charged a man following a serious assault following an alleged stabbing at an address in Thelwall New Road in Grappenhall, Warrington.
Officers attended just after 9am on June 4 and discovered a 28year-old man with a wound to his chest.
The suspect fled the scene and a 32-year-old man was arrested a short time later.
The victim was transferred to Aintree Hospital where his condition is described as serious but stable.
Andrew Potter, 32, from Thelwall New Road, Grappenhall, appeared at North Cheshire Magistrates Court on June 6 to face the charge of section 18 assault.
