New windows for old

NEW windows at Glazebury Methodist Church were dedicated at a special service conducted by Rev Paul Martin.
The 11 new windows, replacing the original ones installed in 1865, were provided by the ongoing fundraising efforts by members and users of the historic building.
Funds were boosted by a grant from the Historic Cheshire Churches Preservation Trust.
Guests at the service were representatives of all the users of the building – which included many local organisations including Culcheth and Glazebury Parish Council who have supported the project.
Picture shows the Rev Paul Martin with parish council chairman Coun Ileyne Hutchinson flanked by councillors Keith and Sue Bland.
