Homeless talk about their lives

A SPECIAL event to mark Homeless Sunday gave people living in a Warrington hostel the chance to talk about their lives.
Lord Hoyle and The Mayor and Mayoress of Warrington, Graham and Elaine Welborn were guests at the Salvation Army, Academy Street.
Guests were given a presentation by residents of the Salvation Army’s James Lee House on the range of activities available. There was also a display of artwork created by residents.
On display was the Salvation Army Housing Association five-a-side football cup won by the residents’ team last year.
Residents took part in a question and answer session describing their life in James Lee House.
They spoke about the opportunities offered to them including skills training, a range of outdoor activities and a sports skills leadership course with Warrington Wolves.
