WARRINGTON Town kept up their hopes of silverware as they reached the semi-finals of the Cheshire Senior Cup with a 3-1 win over Witton Albion.

A virtually full-strength Yellows side were too strong for Albion, who play in the level below Warrington in the football pyramid.

Warrington are joined in the last four by Crewe Alexandra, Nantwich Town and Hyde United.

Witton Albion: Walker, Hickman, Adigun, Wilson, Tarangadzo, Williams, Davis, Noon, Omotola, Sloane, Hinchcliffe. Subs: Owens, Devine, Donnelly, Moore.

Warrington Town: McMillan, Carden, Askew, Williams, McCarten, Gumbs, Vassallo, Smart, Hattersley, Jerome, Harries. Subs: Kilheeney, Monaghan, Robinson, Woods, Smith.
