Alleged thief found in staff room at shop

A MAN alleged to have entered the staff room of a town centre shop at Warrington and stolen property was arrested thanks to action by the staff.
The alleged offender was found at The Entertainer, in the staff room, in possession of two mobile phones and a purse.
Police praised staff for “keeping their heads” and detaining the man until an officer arrived to arrest him.
