Police issue CCTV image of female linked to purse thefts

POLICE have issued a CCTV image of a female they would like to speak to following a number of purse thefts in Warrington town centre.

There were a series of alleged purse thefts throughout the town centre area yesterday (Wednesday 26th October) – the main targets were females in clothes shops in Golden Square shopping mall.

Police would like to speak with the female pictured who they feel could help with their enquiries.

In the meantime police are warning shoppers to be on their guard and to keep their belongings safe.
