Wolves help dream come true for lifelong fan

WARRINGTON Wolves made a dream come true for lifelong fan Brian Flaherty when skipper Chris Hill paid him a surprise visit in hospital on Bank Holiday Monday.

Brian, aged 83 from Howson Road, Orford, is currently  in Warrington Hospital and although “very poorly” never stops talking about Warrington Wolves, who he has supported all his life.

His sister Liz Biddle posted an appeal on facebook and the community rallied showing their support and in less than 24 hours the Wolves skipper was by Brian’s side.

“We would like to thank Warrington Wolves and everyone involved. Brian’s face was a picture when Chris walked in to see him. They spent over an hour talking about the Wolves and rugby which is my brother’s favourite subject.”
