SUPER Heroes will descend on Warrington town centre tomorrow (Saturday May 28) as Comic Con returns to Warrington Market.
Fans of all ages will be able to have their photo taken with a whole host of Marvel and DC superheroes like Batman, the Incredible Hulk, Spider-Man, Iron Man and Captain America along with other favourites from Star Wars including R2-D2, Darth Vader and Chewbacca, as the market goes out of this world.
Crowd favourite Titan the 8ft robot will also be making an appearance along with a David Tennant Dr Who lookalike with with his Tardis, a Cyberman and a couple of Daleks for good measure.
The event returns to Warrington Market after a successful sci-fi event last year.
Market manager Steve Pickering said: “The event proved to be a real crowd puller last year and we are expecting more of the same.
“It was really exciting to see the market and we won a national award for it. It was the best ‘Love Your Local Market’ event in the country,” added Steve.
“We’ve got Batman, Catwoman and The Joker to name but a few and a big drop of Gotham City. The event hall will be split between Star Wars and Gotham City.”
There will be about 50 stalls selling comics and collectables as well as merchandise from films, TV shows and games.
Fans are also being encouraged to dress as their favourite characters.
