In the footsteps of the stars

LOCAL musicians keen to follow in the footsteps of James Morrison and Dizzee Rascal have until October 10 to sign up for a prestigious music course.
The UK’s largest music training organisation Access to Music (ATM), which trained many of today’s top recording artists, is running courses in the town in partnership with Warrington Collegiate.
Courses are full-time and are either free or subsidised and lead to recognised qualifications, which at Level 3 allow students to progress to university.
ATM offers practical industry-focused courses with numerous performance and recording opportunities.
Courses at Warrington Collegiate are run from the new campus building, featuring fully-equipped and sound-proofed band rehearsal rooms, a recording studio, a music technology suite, a theatre for performance and teaching rooms.
The courses are open to those over 16 including musicians, singer-songwriters, solo singers and rappers, and creative music producers.
More details are available at www.accesstomusic.co.uk or freephone 0800 28 18 42.
