Man arrested after car torched

A MAN was arrested on suspicion of arson at Warrington early today after a car was burned out.
The blaze was one of two involving abandoned vehicles during the night.
Fire crews were called to Sankey Valley Park where a Transit van had been dumped and set on fire. A local resident raised the alarm after seeing someone set fire to the vehicle.
The second incident was in Alder Lane, Orford.
Here, police arrested a man at the scene on suspicion of starting the fire which destroyed a parked car.
