Climate change under scrutiny

CLIMATE change and ways of taking practical action to combat it will be explored at an event in Warrington next month.
Organised by Church Together Lymm and district, the event will be at Lymm High School on Sunday, October 12 at 6.30pm.
Keynote speaker will be the Rev Dr David Pickering, chairman of Operation Noah, which campaigns on issues of ecology and the environment.
General theme of the evening will be “God’s Creation – who cares?”
Operation Noah has organised a number of initiatives to try and combat climate change.
These include persuading people to pledge not to fly for 12 months, organising fasting and campaigning to more trees to be planted.
The evening will include an exhibition, information, film, drama, music, and refreshments.
