A MEMORIAL service is to be held in celebration of the life of architect Robert Granville Gough, who died on January 21 at the Walton Centre, Liverpool.
The service will be held at The Spread Eagle pub, Lymm on Sunday, March 6.
Born in Birmingham in 1945, Granville obtained his degree from the University of Birmingham School of Architecture in 1967.
He practised for more than 40 years and formerly lived at Lymm where he considered his former house, The Polygons, in Dane Bank Road, Lymm, to be his masterpiece. It received a Grade 2 Listing from English Heritage in 2014.
Later, Granville moved to Warrington.
He is survived by his wife, Crystal E Bellinger, two sons in London and a stepson and stepdaughter in the United States.
