CATERING staff from a Warrington college are savouring the sweet taste of success after scooping three industry awards.
Priestley College has seen its Crescent Cafe and Wicked Cafe awarded a Warrington Food Award, a Fair Trade certificate and five stars from the Environmental Health Authority.
Run by an outside Warrington-based company, both cafes cater for more than 1,500 hungry students and staff every day.
Recently, five members of the catering team have completed their NVQ 2 qualifications in catering and hospitality.
Catering Manager, Sue Flynn, said: “I can say with regard to the success is that I am chuffed to bits.
“The team has worked tirelessly in pursuit of excellence as has the college in general and thus to be recognised with formal awards of this calibre is very pleasing.”
