STOCKTON Heath Parish Council has welcomed plans to hold a public meeting to discuss this year’s Creamfields music festival.
Members heard that Walton Parish Council had asked if they would be interested in attending a meeting.
Stockton Heath councillors agreed to take up the offer.
Coun Peter Walker said this year’s event would be a 48-hour festival, with overnight camping. Plans were to start the festival at midday on Saturday, August 23 and to close it the following Monday at 12 noon.
He said the licence application would again be heard by Halton Borough Council.
