Transport and employment day

0

WARRINGTON Borough Council has joined forces with a number of key organisations in the town to host a transport and employment open day today (Wednesday).
The council, Job Centre Plus, Warrington Borough Transport, Connexions and Warrington Disability Partnership are hosting the event on Woolston Grange in the hope of answering some of the key questions that surround the two topics.
Areas covered by personnel at the Grange will be public transport, walking, and cycling access, recruitment and retention issues, barriers to business development and employment training and disability access to employment.
Borough council representatives are calling this a perfect opportunity for the business community in the area to discuss issues of concern, related to access, employment, training and business development.
The open-day will take place in a hospitality trailer located on the corner of Hardwick Grange and Melford Court near to the footpath link to Gig Lane.
People are invited to drop-in at anytime between 8.30am and 5.30pm and refreshments will be available throughout the day.
