AS Warrington felt its first touch of frost, the borough council launched a winter weather web page designed to help residents in the event of severe weather.
Naub purpose of the page – www.warrington.gov.uk/winter – is to promote key information during severe weather, so there is little on it yet, other than general information and advice on staying warm and safe and driving carefully.
A council spokesperson said: “Should we experience severe weather this is the page you should check for key information about council services including bin collections, school closures, etc.
