Police investigate hand gun incident at Appleton store

POLICE are appealing for information following a suspicious incident at a convenience store in Bridge Lane, Appleton involving a young man who produced what appeared to be a hand gun or imitation weapon.
It happened at around 1.45pm on Friday, November 14 when a young man entered the Londis store and, after a few moments, produced what appeared to be a handgun or imitation weapon. When this was seen by staff members, he left the store and was seen to place the weapon in a ‘bum-bag?.
The offender is thought to be in his mid to late teens, white, wearing a blue hooded jacket and a dark-coloured ‘snood? over his face.
