Ilias is a tennis champ

A SEVEN-year-old boy from Glazebury has been crowned Cheshire Under Eights Tennis Champion, after competing in the finals at Warrington’s Birchwood Tennis Centre.
Ilias Hirani Worthington, a pupil at Croft Primary School, is following in the footsteps of his father, Robert Worthington, a professional tennis coach in Manchester and former professional player.
Ilias is coached by his father and various coaches at the Birchwood Tennis Centre.
He plays in competitions all over the North West, including the Northern Lawn Tennis Club at Didsbury and at Bolton Arena Performance Centre.
